Ben
Toilet Rentals began in 1966 as a small company in
the Sacramento Valley in the heart of California. In
addition to serving the surrounding communities, the
company also served the CDF and the USFS with the sanitation
needs at on-going forest fires. Over the years these
needs increased and in 1975 the company built it's
first portable shower for Ben Porta Showers.

In 1984 Ben Porta
Showers was selected to provide shower services to the
Los Angeles Olympic Games after a successful performance
with the trial Olympics at Lake Casitas, CA. Along with
supplying on-going forest fires, the companies have provided
services to natural disasters (Loma Prieda earthquake,
the floods of '86, Oakland Hills fires, and the Northridge earthquake)
and special events like the Olympics, BMW Clubs of America,
Levi Strauss Ride'n Tie, Wildflower Century Bike Ride,
Us Concert, military exercises, various concerts and
corporations such as IBM, and various sporting events
(marathons, bike rides and motorcycle races)
In
2001 Ben Toilet Rentals expanded to include metal storage
containers for construction, agricultural and personal
purposes. In 2003 NASA asked Ben Porta Showers to supply
their equipment at the crash clean up site for the
spacecraft Challenger. They stayed throughout the duration
of the long ordeal, even through the harsh winter months,
but it was all worth it to know that they had been
able to help at a time when our country was in crisis.
